childhood ambition: to own a cosy coupe

first job: burger maker at Checkers

biggest challenge: becoming familiar and comfortable with
providing readers advisory to children after years of working with only adults in academic reference and cataloging.

inspiration: Adult volunteers inspire me; their selfless dedication and commitment toservice really make our library great.

currently reading: The Midwife’s Apprentice by Karen Cushman

most surprising thing about being a librarian: that patrons are genuinely interested in what other people are reading and are constantly seeking out advice on what to read.

I love being a librarian because every day is different; I look forward to learning new things each day by helping patrons with research.
