childhood ambition: To write a book (still hope to one day!).

first job: Cutting wallpaper samples for a wallpaper manufacturer; but I like to consider my first “real” job to be working as a clerk at the Middle Country Public Library.

proudest moment: Each year for the past three…seeing hundreds of teens dancing during the author autographing sessions at the Greater Rochester Teen Book Festival.

biggest challenge: Staying motivated when feeling overwhelmed.

inspiration: Most of the time, my job!

currently reading:
Reading: Golden Compass;
Listening: The Year Nick McGowan Came to Stay.

most surprising thing about being a library leader:
Being considered one!

I love working in libraries because:
It is my happy place… something different every single day!
