childhood ambition: Scientist (pathology)
first job: waiting tables and such
proudest moment: birth of my first child (although now that he is 20, I can say that it’s also provided my most humbling experiences)
biggest challenge: overcoming introverted nature and lack of confidence to fulfill the duties of a children’s librarian.
inspiration: passion for early intervention literacy programs, and the several dedicated women in the field with whom I’ve interacted.
